Thanks in substantial part to a leadership donation of $500,000 by the Arrow division of PVH, the Ferry Building
on Ellis Island has been restored and was reopened to the public on April 2nd, 2007. This building is the first
part of the rehabilitation and adaptive reuse of the South Side of Ellis Island. In collaboration with Save Ellis
Island, the Arrow division of PVH is spearheading this major national campaign to raise awareness about the
remaining buildings and donations for projects to build on this initial success.
