My grandfather came to Ellis Island from Sicily as a young man,
and years later returned to his native Italy. The tales of
opportunity, and inspiring stories he shared back home, motivated
his children to immigrate to the United States in the
1950’s. I’m grateful they did… I attribute my
success to the foresight of their decision and I see Ellis Island
as the key that unlocked the door to my success.
